Robert Castilla received the M. Degree in Physics from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 1991 and the Ph. D. in Physics from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2001. He is Associate Professor in the Department of Fluid Mechanics of the UPC since 2011. His research fields have been principally the numerical simulation of fluid flow in a wide range of applications, from turbulent flow in atmosphere to microflows and fluid power components.
