Jordi Sellarès earned his Physics Degree in 1992 from Universitat de Barcelona (UB). In 1997 defends his Ph.D. thesis about semi-classical methods in solid state physics “Response of simple–metal systems with plane symmetry to local one–body operators”, also at UB. In 1996 moves to Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) where presently is associate professor. His main research interest is the experimental study of electrical properties of materials.
