Phd : Enric Perarnau Ollé

I completed an industrial PhD in air quality monitoring, focused on the development of an indoor air quality monitoring system for automotive applications. This experience combined fundamental research with close industry collaboration, making it a non-traditional PhD path. 

I worked on real industrial projects from SEAT and the Volkswagen Group, where the technologies under investigation were tested and validated in operational environments. In parallel, I took part in European-funded research initiatives and served as project leader, gaining hands-on experience in research coordination and international collaboration. In my opinion, an industrial PhD is the perfect opportunity to investigate in science closer to real-world applications.
